Joke? I just watched a cop video where the cop says virtual this. I think it's what cops are trained to look out for really, anyone not conforming and then they try to determine what crime they committed afterwards.

Maybe the proverb should be "the nail that sticks out the most is the first to get pounded back into place".

This is actually the video i was thinking of. The interesting parts are where the cop asks if the driver wants to know why he was stopped and insists on rolling down the window (perhaps to claim he smelled alcohol or weed).
