If we finish equal on both Goal difference and points with either Liverpool or City at the end of the season, then how do they decide who finishes higher? (self.reddevils)

I know its unlikely but what will happen? Do we play a final match to decide the higher team?

Answer to your question is goal scored will factor in, if goal scored are the same then both teams will face each other in a play off match to decide either the PL Winner or CL/Europa place.

Goals scored is next. Then a tiebreaker will be played at a Neutral ground - possibly 3 tiebreakers if it's a 3 way tie.

Given both are way ahead on goals scored I don't think it'll be an issue for us, but City and Liverpool may well have to if they end up tied for 4th or 3rd (hopefully 4th...)

I think you might be thinking of methods used in other leagues(Maybe bungesliga?) so you aren't entirely wrong at all.
