Got to admit I wasn't even thinking about what may happen if hardware problems pop up after the warranty expires. I definitely should look into other phones.

That's fair. I'm already 4 months into the warranty period and am looking at a third phone with no assurance I'll get one that actually works for more than a month, let alone the years I go in between phones.

If I'm allowed to return it I probably will. I don't use a ton of the Pixel specific features and being able to actually call people is a critical feature IMO. I'd be much more okay with this if it was an issue that didn't interfere with literally the primary task of a smartphone.

And weirdly I got a new device instead of a refurbished one and it still had the issue. It's kind of ridiculous that this is a typical problem.

Turns out they are meal moth larvae. I never saw maggots or meal moth larvae in person before so I made an (incorrect) assumption.

They were live in the uncooked rice, but I don't think they survived the cooking. I just ended up finding their corpses later after the fact. I'd always found them in leftovers that I microwaved, so before now I thought whatever they were got in after cooking and were killed by the microwave.

Update: The larvae were in the fucking uncooked rice. I'm gonna start storing rice better in the future.

You don't need to kiss anyone to know who you like. Or who you don't like. It's common that straight people will say you can't know because you haven't tried it yet but that's just not the case. You said it yourself, nobody ever asks straight people if they've kissed someone of the same gender.

Err I think that's referring to trans people who identify as gay or lesbian. Queer folks in general have a higher rate of suicide attempts than the general population, but it only reaches 40% when you're looking at trans people.

If moaning and trouble reaching orgasm are connected? Probably not. I tend to make some noise but it's not necessary and I still have trouble having an orgasm. I think the whole noise/no noise thing is really just what you're used to. I never moaned before leaving home but now that I regularly have my own space I moan pretty frequently.
