My first reaction was the same as his, but in reality, illiberals are going to be prejudice and think what they think regardless of explanation(or facts or reason when it comes to pretty much anything).

To anyone reasonable enough to be worthy of an explanation, it's going to be fairly obvious or at least easy to simply say, "It's satire", especially with Kek right there. That's so mainstream, partly thanks to WoW (babbie's first video game [a whole other discussion]) and thanks to Twitch in general for spreading it all over.

IMO, it's different enough and the original is obscure enough that it is not going to trigger most victims. The iconic one is the simpler one from OP, from the armband.

I honestly didn't recognize it myself and I'm sorta into the relics....Bad as they were, they had excellent designers. That's why bikers and surfers and such appropriated things like the Iron Cross and other medallions and symbols.(Nevermind the Iron Cross is also on the crown jewels and a wide array of other military / government stuff, illiberals still think it's a symbol for Nazism). Everything Nazi had a lot of sharp angles and such that fits into "rebel" and "sinister" etc etc, not just because of guilt by association. Humans have had a fascination with such shapes since early depictions of lightning. Look at the hammer and cycle, stars, crescent moons,etc. There's a reason the Nazi's themselves appropriated the swastika...It looks kinda badass all on it's own.
