Hello! My name is Beau Brady. Thank you for taking time to check out my project. That video up there is titled "Misconceptions about the universe" by a well known and respected youtube vlogger called Veritasium. I believe I can prove most of what the video claims to be false. It bothers me that not only did he not clear up any misconceptions but he was feeding us a bunch of standard misconceptions and added a few new ones. The only accurate information he gave was that space can expand faster than light, but empty space being nothing itself makes the statement nothing CAN travel faster than light still true. I want to start my own YouTube channel and i am trying to raise money here for my first two or three videos to be professionally made by the same companies that create peoples videos for their campaigns on here. I will also have enough to buy a camera and some video editing software once I reach my funding goal so I can begin to create my own videos, I know having them professionally made will be an unsustainable business model. However its really important to me that my first few video blogs are high quality because the concepts i need to demonstrate are a little like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube in that you need to think in three layers to comprehend it. Its important to me that everybody can easily comprehend it because it could potentially be worthy of a Nobel Prize, Edwin Hubble's inflation theory, that i will be trying to prove is wrong, actually DID win him a Nobel prize in the 1920s'

    He made a mistake that was really easy to make and that's why nobody has caught it until now and I wouldn't have ever caught it without my addictive, relentless hunger for knowledge witch drove me to feel the need to figure out why nobody had any idea what Dark Energy was. If it couldn't exist then to me it was common sense to assume there must be a flaw with the reason it must exist. That reason was Hubble's observations of the Red-Shift measurements in light coming from distant galaxies. He discovered that the further away the galaxy the more pronounced the Red-Shift, he assumed that meant that the universe was expanding and that the expansion was speeding up the further away from us things were.

     Maybe you are already thinking to yourself that doesn't sound right... It sure doesn't, Why the heck do WE happen to be right in the center of this exponential expansion, what makes US so special? but that is why Dark Energy was invented. Apparently it was easier to assume some unknown universal force existed than it was to assume his theory had a flaw. Upon some deeper thought I realized that further away galaxies are also further back in TIME since the light speed however fast is not infinite just one galaxy is several light-years across so distant galaxies are billions of light years away. You would EXPECT to see further away objects to appear to be speeding up if the universe had SLOWED DOWN over time, not sped up. The reason they were moving apart more quickly long ago is because they were closer IN TIME to the Big Bang, when the universe expanded faster than light, but has since slowed down.

    When I figured this out almost a year ago it hit me like a TON of bricks because i KNEW it was right because it solved SO MANY other issues, Dark energy, The fact we can see distant galaxies (we couldn't if the universe was still expanding faster than light) and the coincidence of us happening to fall exactly in the center of the universes' expansion. It also means that the universe cant be infinite because it will eventually collapse, I believe after every collapse comes another Big Bang event and that solves the problem of intelligent life being so unlikely because this may be the one in a millionth time around. Its called Occams' Razor, If two conclusions can be drawn you always go with the one that is the easiest to believe.

One good Idea? so what?

     I also have theories for twenty other similar issues but none that I have such amazing observational proof of, but I do have great theories for a lot of other things like what dark matter and dark flow really is, why galaxies are flat, are black holes really infinitely dense. In fact I have already planned out a new video blog for each line on the piece of paper below, don't bother trying to read it, its my short hand chicken scratch just to remind me of it. I am excited to finally have A chance to do something productive and useful with the years of knowledge I have accumulated.

Higher Education:

     I have no fancy college degrees, I did take astronomy at Diablo Valley College but for the most part I am self taught and I am confident that if a GED test existed for college I would pass with flying colors. as early as elementary school I was put in special "Gifted And Talented Education" GATE classes, it was an attempt to make it more challenging but I eventually wound up using my abilities to be lazy, I made it challenging by seeing how high a grade i can get without ever doing homework outside of class time, reading, studying and barely paying attention in class. It was always a pleasant surprise and self esteem booster when I would get high scores on all my tests and quizzes. It was stupid to not want to try harder in retrospect but I kinda thought that I would be as good at life as I was at school work. I was SO wrong, I suck at life but I am still good at learning, and even better when I'm learning something I am passionate about and extremely interested in. Extreme interest is generated by having a mystery to solve, that's why theoretical physics and cosmology are a perfect fit for me. Now that I have made an important discovery, getting any kind of recognition for it has become a huge problem for me, I am not sure if having a fancy degree would help or not but it couldn't hurt, I regret my childhood laziness now but you don't NEED college to learn, all you need is curiosity about something and the ability to read. I am looking forward to the first person who messages me saying I am wrong, I'm surprised nobody has yet!
