Where can I view information about my Pocket Premium Subscription?

You can view your subscription information at any time by clicking here: Pocket Premium Settings

If you’re using iOS or Android, you can access this information in Pocket by selecting Premium from the Pocket Menu.

I have a new device. How can I use my Pocket Premium Subscription on this device?

If you subscribe to Pocket Premium, the subscription is linked to your Pocket account. This means that your subscription will follow you wherever you happen to use Pocket. To restore your subscription in Pocket on a new device and unlock the Premium features, simply log into your account.

If you are having trouble restoring your Pocket Premium subscription after logging in to Pocket on iOS or Android, go to Settings > Premium and tap “Restore Existing Subscription”.

Can I change my Subscription from Monthly to Annual (or vice versa)?

Yes! If you’d like to change your subscription type, please contact Pocket Support and we’ll be happy to make these changes for you. In your email, please include your Pocket email address and order number.

Can I get an invoice or receipt for my Pocket Premium subscription payment?

If you need an invoice or receipt for your Pocket Premium payment, just  contact Pocket support and we'll be happy to provide one. 

If you made your purchase through iTunes or Google Play, you'll be able to view your invoice by logging into your Apple or Google account. 

My subscription is shown as “comped”. What does this mean?

When you activate a Pocket Premium on your account without providing a payment method, they appear as “comped”. There are several common types of comped subscriptions:

  1. Promotion through Galaxy Gift App on Samsung (6 free months)
  2. Promotion through Acer (6 free months)
  3. Purchase of Pocket Premium through a bundle promotion (Productivity Pack, Parallels Bundle, etc.)

Comped subscriptions typically do not renew automatically. However, if you add a Payment Method (see below), you can ensure that your subscription doesn't end when your time runs out.

I’m subscribed to Premium with iTunes/Google Pay. Can I pay on the Pocket Website instead?

Yes, you can switch from paying for Pocket Premium on iTunes or Google Play to paying directly on our website. However, you must wait until your current paid period ends, and be sure to disable cancel your subscription on Google Play or iTunes so your subscription doesn’t auto-renew at the end of your billing cycle.

Does Pocket Premium Auto-Renew?

Pocket Premium subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default. You can easily turn off auto-renew here.

How can I cancel my Pocket Premium Subscription?

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

If you choose to cancel your subscription, your Pocket account will be converted to a Free account and will continue to be fully functional. However, you will no longer have access to Permanent Library, Full-Text Search or Suggested Tags.

The data from your search index and Permanent Library will be kept on Pocket’s servers for 30 days.

Can I get a refund for my Pocket Premium purchase?

If you are not completely satisfied with Pocket Premium, it may be possible to receive a refund depending on where the purchase was made.

  • If you purchased Pocket Premium through Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or another app market, it will unfortunately not be possible to receive a refund.

  • If you purchased Pocket Premium from the Pocket website, it may be possible to receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription period. To inquire about a refund, please click here to let us know the reason.

I just upgraded to Pocket Premium. Can I start using the new features right away?

After upgrading, we will begin to process your account for the new Premium features. This may take some time to complete, but we will send you an email when they’re ready. You can also check the status of your account by clicking here: Premium Account Status

Where will I be able to use the new Premium Features in Pocket?
