  • Mga Master pa help and ask lang ako. May fibr na sa area namin... current plan ko is 999 = DSL + 800 = Landline kaya total of PHP1,800 monthly bill namin... pwede ko na ipaupgrade or irequest yung DSL ko to fibr diba?

    may extra bayad ba sa Installation fee and Modem? baka kasi singilin ako tapos libre lang naman pala...

    nakita ko sa shop.pldthome.com - not sure kung official site ito? saan ba yung mga fibr plan site nila?

    Fibr Unli Plan 1899 up to 20 Mbps

    Fibr Speed Plan 1899 up to 50 Mbps with 300 GB Monthly volume allowance - eto ba yung kapag nag over 300gb yung download mo may extra bayad na?

  • When I tried to apply for migration(outside lockin) 6months ago, ang charges samin ng business office sa Cainta Rizal is the ONU fee and installation fee(waived ang activation fee).

    Other said libre lahat, other said activation fee lang binayaran nila or ONU fee lang for migration.

    In short your mileage may vary so try to consult the nearest business center.
    If you're in lockin, I'm not sure if they will approve 1899 but try anyway.

    Get the 1899 20mbps.
    20mbps is fast enough to be honest compared 5mbps. Sa 50mbps, pag nasanay ka sa speed yung 300gb mo mabilis din mawawala.
    Pag naubos ang 300gb(dating 80gb lol) 0% ng subscribed speed unless binago na nila ang terms nila.
  • anybody here using pldt vdsl? balak namin magpaconvert from regular dsl to vdsl since hindi pa available fibr sa building namin. at least pag vdsl na daw, kaya na ang 50Mbps* down at 25Mbps* up, although copper line pa rin sya.

    Ok ba ang vdsl based on your experience? Yung dsl namin ngayon hindi pa CGNAT. Baka pag nagpalipat kami, maging CGNAT na. So far, stable naman ang dsl namin. Ang isa pang worry ko baka pag na convert na, biglang magsulputan ang mga usual issues like disconnections ans latency problems. Please help me decide.
  • may VDSL2 na ba PLDT? i would take the risk and shift to VDSL2 kung meron na dito sa area namin. makapag inquire nga. CGNAT is not that bad sir, unless need mo port forwarding. CGNAT na ko this year di ko nga nanotice, same lang kasi ping ko as before.

    Pero eto mas safe mo magagawa sir kung nag aalangan ka. kung labas na sa lockin period yan DSL mo, pakabit ka na lang ng bagong line na may VDSL2 w/o terminating your DLS yet. this way malalaman mo kung ok. kung hindi ok, pacancel mo na lang VDSL, citing a bad or unusable service. Kung ayos naman, pwede mo na pacancel yung DSL line mo. Only drawback nyan eh 2 accounts babayaran mo don sa buwan ng testing stage mo.

    not sure kung vdsl2 yung available sa amin or just vdsl. pwede ko sya iinquire bukas. yup, out of contract na yung dsl namin and originally, ang plano ko talaga is to apply vdsl as a second account while retaining the old dsl account for the same reason you stated above. ang problema ko lang kasi is 36 month lockin yung new line kaya kapag sub-par yung vdsl, getting out of the contract might not be that easy. baka pahirapan pa ako.

  • ^ nope pwede yan paterminate ng walang babayaran kung bago pa lang at bad/unusable yung service. Di ka nila pwedeng pwersahin na gamitin kung di nga usable. Otherwise, reklamo mo sa DTI at NTC. Baka yun lang installation fee ang di mo na mabawi.

    hindi, yung monthly mo multiplied by your remaining locked months.

    Yes, that's what it says in their T&C. Baka nanegotiate ng tito mo. pwede naman yan.
  • ^ sa smart kse 3mos of monthly din ang pre-termination fee na binayaran namin when we had one of our line terminated when their ABS shot up to 2,500.

    Actually that's already fiber to the bldg.
    It's very unlikely that they will rewire your bldg with fiber unless someone pays for it and neither pldt or the management has a reason to.

    Well sooner or later malay mo palitan din nila yan ng gfast or gigawire.

  • meron palang network issue ngayon? bumabagal kasi yung download ko tapos hindi agad nagloload ang websites like youtube.

    Once tumawag ako directly sa branch inquiring about fiber pero guard ang sumagot sakin hindi daw pede ipasa sa loob yung tawag at pumunta na lang daw ako.

    Since unreliable tumawag sa 171 at kailangan pumunta sa business center para mag inquire.
  • very fast response time from PLDT, nawalan ng dial tone and dsl kanina 6am, nakatawag around 8:30am, dumating technician around 11:30am and natapos gawin ng 12:30 pm. may pinalitan dun sa box which is 400 meters away from our house. Twice na mabilis yung response nila, 2 days lang application, processing and installation ng DSL namin na kinabit last month.
  • ^dang, never ko pa naranasan na same day pumunta yung technician after tumawag, usually 3-5 working days pa bago dumating. is your area within metro manila?
  • hindi ko pa nababayaran ung installation fee biglang dumating kagad ung magkakabit ng dsl. so far ok naman speed.

    Same problem sa Mandaluyong area, using Google DNS pero same issue.

    Pero here sa Caloocan ok naman.
