Use your existing MyChart account to manage your health information and communicate with your doctor on your mobile devices, including Apple Watch.
With MyChart you can:
• Review test results, medications, immunization history, and more
• Stay in touch with your physician
• Manage your appointments
• Upload health and fitness data, including data from the Apple Health app, when enrolled in self-tracking programs
• View and pay your bill
• Access your family's health information
You must first create an account through your healthcare provider's MyChart website. If your healthcare provider is not listed, or if you require support accessing your existing account, contact them directly or visit their MyChart website for more help options.

Note that the 5.1 version is the last version that will support iOS 8.4. The minimum version will be increased to iOS 9.0 with the next app update.

Solid App
So far no crashes and allows me to access my children's medical records, contact the doctor, request medication refills in a more user-friendly way than using a browser. A bonus for me is that they already have functionality that handle switching back-and-forth between different healthcare providers that use this company's same electronic medical record software. My only suggestion would be that they do some cleaning up of the appearance to make some things easier to see at a glance; perhaps a smaller font and the selective use of bold for the list of messages and test results. I look forward to seeing what they do with this in the future.
Design flaws
Frustrating things:
1) The login page is always portrait orientation, even when the iPad is in landscape. Get this: the Touch ID dialog appears in landscape on top of their portrait splash screen!
2) The main page (Activities) usually has an overlaid message such as "View details of your appointments" or "View your messages" (or both) that covers the activity icons. You must touch the overlay (which takes you to the appointments or messages pages) or touch somewhere else to dismiss the overlay before you can see all of the activity icons. Those overlaid messages are in the way! Put them somewhere else other than over the important icons. This is an obvious design failure.
3) After sending a message, there's no way to see what you've sent unless the recipient replies. There's no "sent messages" screen.
Epic should be better than this. They're right down the road from me, and their campus is top-notch great! Their apps should be, too.
Better than I thought
After reading the reviews I was skeptical about downloading the app. However, after using it for a while I found it to be very useful. I have an iPhone 7. I don't know if it depends on the type of phone you have but so far it has been working great. I was hospitalized for a week and all the results of tests would pop up as well as the medication that they would give me. Shows all the appointment I have. It's a simple app that an older can use too.
