De Gea: 6 Didn't have a single save to make. Distributed well and claimed high balls confidently.

Bailly: 8 A solid performance, dealt with Costa easily and laughed at his bad acting.

Rojo: 7 Same as Bailly, had a solid game. Had a few scuffles with Costa where he kept calm.

Darmian: 7 Rarely sent forward and sometimes played as a third centre back. Calm and composed in possession and kept Pedro quiet.

Valencia: 8 Showed off his athleticism and machine-like energy, playing as a winger and a full back at the same time.

Young: 8 Took the captain's armband, and showed why. Almost got an assist for Rashford with a great low cross and could claim the assist for Herrera's goal. Wasteful with opportunities though.

Fellaini: 7 Physically dominated in midfield, showed off his incredible chest control and passed well.

Herrera: 10 Didn't give Hazard a sniff all game, scored a goal, and got a brilliant assist for the opening goal. What more can you ask for? Although he impressed defensively by marking Hazard out of the game, he also controlled the midfield when his team had the ball. His best performance in a United shirt.

Pogba: 7 Excelled more defensively than offensively in midfield, but kept the team ticking playing mainly simple passes in midfield.

Lingard: 8 Started up front with Rashford, but drifted around wherever he wanted. Closed down well, made some nice runs and some nice passes.

Rashford: 9 The second best player on the pitch. Scored an early goal with a neat finish and have Chelsea problems all game with his electrifying pace, quick feet, and bags of skill.

SUBSTITUTES Carrick: 7 Came on to shut the game down, and did just that.

Ibrahimovic: N/A Didn't have enough time to properly impact the match, but still managed to get booked.
