The lad gets a lot of stick(some deserved, some not), but when used correctly he pockets matic and kante like it's nothing. Underrated performance today

Credit to Mou also for not giving a fuck about the moaning fans. Got the lineup absolutely bang on today.

People need to ease up on their preconceptions of the man. He is good enough for us. He was used correctly today. Not as a sub to defend a lead, not as a route 1 option, but as a physical, man-marked presence that shut Kante (perhaps one of if not the best performer in the past 2 seasons) the fuck down.

He is a valuable utility player. A Fletcher, an O'Shea - a man that can do a job for you. We need to stop the freakouts when he has a bad game or misplaces a pass or two. It happens, let him recover and give the guy some support for once.

That would be fine if we were using him as a utility player, but he's played 39 games this season. We're relying on him week in and week out and I don't think he's good enough for that.

No, it's the case that he puts in a decent shift more often than not but he is quite a liability aswell. He tries hard but just isn't good enough.
