Got it spot on today. Best performance of the season for me.

He'll get it wrong in the future, as all managers do. But today shows 1) the idea that he is "past it" or that football has moved on from him is ludicrous and 2) the players are playing for him.

As much as r/soccer has been laughing off Fellaini or Young as captain. We've played incredible in those matches to be fair. I've never questioned Mourinho this season except for the first Liverpool game this season in the league.

What an incredible manager, and I can't wait for what he can offer us next season.

I need someone tactically adept to break it down for me. Conte looked like someone told him his players were throwing the match, he had zero answers. Mou was active, yelling, shouting, everything that /r/soccer sucks off Conte for. And Conte just looked lost. Like he was up against something he had never seen before, and had no answers for. What a fucking result.

Hazard was marked out of the game. Costa, in shit form, was being riled up by Rojo and was invisible. The back 3 were getting pressured by Lingard and Rashford's constantly. That left the midfield where felli especially was bullying everyone with his physicality.

He did brilliantly today, but it's one game. Van Gaal also beat many of the big teams while he was here. Let's celebrate this victory, but not get carried away like some small time fucking team thinking this was their cup final.
