I love how the system came out in 2004 when I was in high school, I'm 30 now and I still find brand new PSP games in stores from time to time.

They really should have delayed their release to be about 6 months after Overwatch.

I have never played it, and I know it isn't DIRECTLY comparable to Overwatch, but that is what the public thought... A real failure on the part of the marketing team, nobody knew what the game was, and I have seen interviews with the devs where even they floundered trying to describe the game. MOBA + FPS essentially?

From what I hear about the current state of the game, if you solo queue you can end up waiting 15-20 mins for a match, and I imagine that servers will be offline a year from now because so few people play.

EDIT: Looking at Steam, the average number of players online in the last 30 days is 154... I didn't leave out a digit: One-hundred and fifty four. That is so much worse than I thought.

My fiancee and I loved Battleborn (and have moved onto Overwatch) like nobodies business. We could go on for probably a few hours on how much better the game would have been if it was released now with a year of extra polish, or how Gearbox really REALLY needs to drop 2K as a publisher/marketing team.

Yeah. I would love to see it go F2P with cosmetic Mtx. I think that would be the only way to restore a playerbase, and there is plenty of evidence that F2P cosmetic Mtx Moba work. As it stands now even if the game was on sale for $5 I probably still wouldn't buy it because it sounds like MP, the main part of the game, is essentially nonfunctional.

I have a group I play Overwatch with and we've all pretty much had to agree to never mention Battleborn because one guy in the group will just start going on and on about how much better it is than Overwatch if you even mention it and how if it had been released at a much later date, it would have done better.

There is a lot of blame to be laid at the feet of both 2K and Gearbox for what happened to Battleborn, but I think it's worth noting that the release date of early May was announced while Overwatch still didn't have an official release date, and retailers were saying OW preorders would ship in late June. Then shortly after Gearbox announced their release date Blizzard not only announced late May for Overwatch but also that the open beta would launch literally the day before Battleborn's release. If I were the conspiratorial type, I might suggest Blizzard was waiting for an official announcement on Battleborn's release date so they could position themselves against it, since the game had basically been in a shippable state since ~March.

There was a con like 3 months ago where they were giving out the GOTY of Battleborn with all DLC characters and all cosmetics. According to them it was a $100+ value. People were still turning them away.

This is true. I got a copy. Played it once and never played it again... the panel was a supposed to be devs talking about deving but turned into them trying to sell Battleborn, I left once they started to roleplay xD

To be fair I felt the very same way about the Overwatch beta, but I learned to understand the battlefield in both of those games and love them for their own merits.

EDIT However, I can attest that the character designs in Overwatch are easier on the eyes, more like Pixar characters that Saturday-morning cartoon characters from the 80's

Don't buy headphones/earbuds/speakers at 5below. I'm not sure what the cheapest you can go on cheap headphones but it's apparently >$6.

Power packs, on the other hand, are great for the money. Buy a bandolier' worth.

Audio stuff is absolutely shit.

I would only suggest buying the Aux cord, radio doohickey, or the cassette converter.

Everything else is good though.

The game literally isint worth a dollar. Its an online game with no community. Unless you enjoy staring at a queue screen or trying to solo missions built for 5 players, you're just wasting your time.

Never heard of 5 below but I would buy this game for $5. I get a couple hours of fun single player and that's enough for $5.
