Kara! Remember him playing as a defensive midfielder in the Norwegian Tippeligaen for Tromsø a few years ago. Absolutely bossed the league and was just super solid. Didn't know he played in Belgium now, but I always imagined he would go on to play at an even higher level.

We are, Anderletcht are all over the place, can't connect two passes, their fans are on the edge. They had some counter attacking football going on but besides that they've been poor and loosing the ball quite frequntly.

Carrick has been great, Valencia and Rashford too.

Ibra has been poor, Mkhi too other than the goal (which is obviously important).

Anderlecht have defended well but we have many more gears to go through this evening by the looks of it.

Everyone is praising Rashford (and rightly so) in part because he's been doing a large amount of Darmians defensive duties. Darmian at left back doesn't really overlap or contribute to the attack, so he has very little excuse to be so often caught out of position when we're defending.

Every time I've seen Rashford track back and win a ball, Darmian has been in front of the attacker in the right position to keep our defensive shape. To me, Rashford isn't doing Darmian's job, he's just tracking back really well so that Darmian hasn't had much to do.
