I have watched that episode again recently, and that scene was pretty great, together with the one in the bathroom where he fishes for validation by throwing stereotypes at the women there, and the other one with one of the boys' s father turned into a dolphin by plastic surgery moaning at the lack of facilities for dolphins-kin.

It' s just eerily creepy how foreshadowing that entire episode is.

The other one that is spooky is the Futurama episode "Bend Her". Totally predicts the Olympics issue and the whole "I'm so sexy teehee" fetishism.

That is another one that is definitely worth watching! And remember, "Men are so much better at being women."!

It was hilarious ten years ago when everything in that episode was too absurd to be considered even remotely believable. Now, it' s scary! :)

I also forgot to mention the kid who wants to become transracial (because jews can' t play basketball) and gets surgery to become black: there' s that, too!

I saw it when I was fifteen and said, "That was funny, but it's a total misrepresentation of trans people. They have to go through years of counseling before undergoing surgery, and they aren't delusionally thinking that they're actually female."

That used to be the case, but trans activists in the last ten years have done their damnedest to make Garrison's Fancy New Vagina look reasonable by comparison.

Matt Parker and trey stone confirmed terfs? Where's all the calls for them to die in a fire and choke on ladydick?

Edit: or is it Matt stone and trey Parker? I can never remember...

Humans are allowed opinions, women are not.

Major terfs. They had an episode a few seasons ago about Bruce Jenner going on women-murdering spree with his car.

There was a recent episode about PC police that was funny, I never watch it but a friend told me about it so I watched it, and everyone in the show was basically shamed into saying Caitlyn Jenner was stunning and brave, lol

The portrayal of PC Principal , the brocialist dudebro, was hilariously accurate.

They've done some great "trans-critical" episodes, but there was one about the bathroom controversy that was absolutely bizarre. Cartman was pretending to be female to get a private bathroom, and even though the show made it obvious that's what he was doing, they still appeared to defend men's "right" to use female bathrooms. And shaming anyone who disagrees. It was a bit of a confusing mess. The earlier episodes were better.

They make fun of everyone. They don't side with anyone, they just simply shit on everyone to point out the ridiculousness of everything.

Even if they did somehow manage to experience periods and the joy of worrying about unwanted pregnancy, that would still not make them a woman. Being a woman is being socialized from birth to be inferior and that is something a transgirl will never experience.

I've known quite a few parents of transkids and they all screech the same thing: "Johnia, don't you dare let that girl tell you no". It's sickening to watch.

[–]RockabillyBuzzbyWhen a woman gives her opinion she's a 'bitch' 4 ポイント5 ポイント  (2子コメント)

What do the parents do? I know I'm going to regret asking....

[–]womenhaveovaries 9 ポイント10 ポイント  (1子コメント)

Not sure what you're asking? Everybody claims that they are treating the mtf kid exactly as if he's a girl (and treating the ftm as if she's a boy), but it never happens. In reality, it is the parents of these trans children who insist that all the real girls in the group give the mtf whatever he wants as if he's a little prince.

Meanwhile, they will tell their daughters five seconds later that she needs to be nice and "look how sad Johnia is, can you think of anything to do to make him smile?" (I'm using correct pronouns here.)

It's the same sort of typical female/male socialization given accordance with their bio sex that you would expect to see from any conservative or homophobe. So you've got a little prince (an actual boy) running around in a pink fairy dress and everybody is calling him by a girl's name, but everyone is expected to wait on him hand and foot, especially the girls. And no one expects him to do the same sort of emotional labor or household chores which are expected of real girls. It's totally okay for him to decide what everyone is going to be doing for the afternoon. He is in charge after all cos he's a little prince in a fairy dress. And then all the parents smile and nod their heads and go "yep, we're treating him just exactly like we treat any real girl". Except they're not and it's crazy making...

I love South Park. I know they're full of libertarian dudebro humor, but they go for the jugular and I love it. It's a show full of very smart observations.

EDIT-Totally gonna go watch this now.

[–]BurnOut7Proud Vagina Owner 2 ポイント3 ポイント  (0子コメント)

No, but I should have thought of that. Its Butters, my favourite character, dressed as Professor Chaos and the South Park sign from the theme song on my left butt cheek.

There is another episode on season seven I guess, called Sissy something where they also make fun of gender identities. Super recommend.

[–]BurnOut7Proud Vagina Owner 2 ポイント3 ポイント  (0子コメント)

When that episode came out, I was living as trans and engaged to another transman. She watched it first and forbade me from watching it. That was 3 years ago, I still haven't watched it. Its the only South Park I've never seen. I think I know what my goal is today.

Edit-The episode is also called The Cissy, which is great.
