How does the Donald Trump administration feel about Russia? Depends on who you ask, comrade.
Trump himself has repeatedly praised Vladimir Putin and insisted they don’t even know each other. Our ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley says we can’t trust Russia. After an attack in Syria, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Russia was either complicit or incompetent. New National Security Advisor H. R. McMaster reportedly sees Russia as an adversary.
Anyway, if you watch the video above, you can see Sean Spicer calling Russia one of our “allies” while talking about American intervention in Syria. Allies don’t typically try to influence each other’s elections, as numerous U.S. intelligence agencies have determined Russia did, but hey.
