I think wenger leaving would be good for arsenal. It's not like he's over achieving. A couple of strong leaders and they have quality around rhe pitch to do damage.

Personally I think his leaving would be a disaster for them. He's a dinosaur and he's got no ambition, but the board there is a bunch of penny pinching twats. And they've only STARTED to loosen the strings for him after 20 odd years. If they get a new guy, they won't spend, and they'll have to try to scramble results with the withered corpse of theo walcott and his ilk.

I honestly think that when Wenger goes, Arsenal drops to mid-table obscurity, duking it out for Europa league every season.

I think City will wrap up 3rd but Liverpool is within reach for sure! We've been in this position too many times though this season so I'm not overly optimistic. I'm actually glad to see some rotation though because we will need it. Valencia deserved a break.

4 points and 1 game in hand, and we still play them. If we win our game and beat city we go past them. Easier said than done but if we don't beat city then we deserve to be out of the top 4

Unfortunately, we still have a difficult fixture ahead of us with 6 games in 17 days.

Chelsea at Home 3 days after Anderlecht where a win will be crucial.

ManCity Away to catch up on points (depending on previous results).

Swansea at Home will be another difficult game for us since they seem to always cause us trouble in the return fixture. Additional incentives for them since they're battling relegation.

After this, we still have Arsenal and Spurs Away. Its very crucial that we try to finish Anderlecht in the 1st leg so we can rest some of the starters in the return leg and (as hopefully) give some game time for the youth players like TFM. Also seem possible that Pool and City drop some points against West Brom and Southampton this weekend.

That is true.

The 1st half of the Anderlecht match is crucial. If we can settle it out with a half-strength team, that is perfect. If we can't, that would make our fixtures a lot harder.

The Chelsea game is also a real tough one. If we keep the intensity up the entire match, we may be able to hold them off. Chelsea's wingbacks like to bombard up the field a lot, there are good 2v1 matchups for our outside backs. May be an interesting game to watch if we bring our all.

Man city away home might a winnable fixture. This is a fixture we have been able to dominate this season and should have won it the first time we played in the season.

Arsenal away is a win for the most part. Right now, the locker room looks super bad, and things just aren't going right for them. The Wenger saga is going to get a whole lot bluddy after this week. And spurs are a real tough team to beat at home.

I see pool dropping points to Southampton and maybe West Brom and city dropping points to West Brom.
