not at all, few people in this game realize that archer actually requires the most skill in the game to play. You literally have to put at least an hour in before you'll get competent enough to slay the high level noobs that put thousands of hours in. You're in for a tough road ahead kid, but with minutes of practice, you might just make it out there.

If you put the practice in, you can get really good at predicting arrow drop and target velocity. Takes a long time though, usually an hour or maybe even 2! Thankfully most people have played Skyrim so they know how to do it already! Wouldn't want to make a mechanic too difficult now would we.

I have some hours, im ok being noob :D I only dont like the spin atack, pro players use this a lot =P when they use it I die the 90% of times...I cant dodge or block that =( (sorry noob english too)

shoot them with cancer injection (xbow ones are most effective) and just mash scrollup with shortsword if they try to demand chemo from you or just run back to spawn while spamming xx2

Regular XBow if you want to snipe archers, Light XBow is probaly the best for everything else, but if you can handle the regular Bows better they are also good enough.

For melee, just pick shortsword and spam mousewheeel up.

Take light crossbow since headshots will one hit archer, man at arms and vanguards. The fast reload speed and high dmg output makes it the superior range weapon. Thrusting dagger and shortsword are the best in my opinion because the other daggers deal less damage while shortsword can two hit all classes except knight (two headstabs to vanguards).

And for the fighting, riposte alot and stab mostly! Overheads are somewhat alright but mostly used against lighter classes but definitly works against everyone. But yeah just penetrate their anus from afar, run in and shank them in the gut and z4.

PROTIP: If your aim is not great and you miss out on alot of headshots, press Q for an easy one hit against that surviving vanguard or knight. And DON'T groundsniff everytime you reload lmao

Warbow with bodkin arrows and shortsword. Ive tried all archer setups and this is consistently the one i do best with by far. You can one shot all but knight. Whatever survives one shot, quick switch to sword and stab while theyre charging you overconfidently for another quick kill. While you can snipe, xbow is better for that. So use the warbows strength which is mid range.

Helmets dont matter. Thats just visual. Bodkin is best against knight. But if you go by number of hits to kill, bodkin is best all around. Unless you enter a game entirely of archers and maa. In which case im not sure warbow is best anymore.

Use longbow with broadheads, and use the cudgel.

Short bow with the sabre, use the sabre to block and get just far enough away for more rapid fire arrows.
