Hello United Fans! I am working on a project for school (Uni/College.) The project is to make a storytelling podcast. My vision for this project is to retell famous stories of Football/soccer. Obviously Manchester United are a globally recognized team and organization. My question to you all is, what are some United stories you think must be shared to those who do not know about United or the sport in general.

I was thinking maybe the Busby Babes or Sir Alex's reign. I'd love to hear back and hopefully find some great resources to tell the story accurately and respectively.

Look into how Real Madrid effectively helped us rebuild after the Munich Air Disaster, nice piece of intra club history there as well. I believe the story is that Real loaned us their best player at the time to help us rebuild a team. Found an article here that more or less explains the scenario. Thanks for choosing to write about our club, please post your podcast when it's complete if you don't mind! I'm sure at least a few of us would love to hear it.

Thank you! I knew a little bit about this but never looked at it as "intra club history" I love how you put it that way. That makes the story even more interesting to non fans in my opinion. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely post it once it's done!

Just to follow up, the last 7 paragraphs of that article are also fascinating. They talk about the many rounds of fund raising friendlies played between the two teams, I believe almost all of the proceeds of each of those games went to United and the bereaved as well. Also good to note that Real opened up their training facilities for free to any of our players that might have needed them. All around just a load of top class actions from Real Madrid that our fans should never forget.

Definitely shows the depths of Real Madrid's compassion at the time. One of the most complete players of all time offered up for free to a club in need only to be denied by the FA.
