Pogba Decline or Media Propoganda? (self.reddevils)

I don't watch many United games but constantly see articles about how he's struggling. Is this a media overreaction or is he actually struggling and if so what do you think is the problem?

I think he needs to up his finishing because he misses a lot of big chances and he also needs to step up more than he is doing in the big games but i'm largely a big fan of him.

He does a lot of work in the midfield to keep the ball ticking over and the game moving and I think it was pretty noticeable when he wasn't playing (e.g. against Boro when we had 36% possession).

If you forget about his price tag for a second and judge him as a footballer then I think it's pretty clear he's already a big player for us.

His performances has undoubtedly been worse since the Liverpool game (and the stats support that statement), but all in all he's been our best midfielder throughout the season and even when he's having a day off he consistently produces some quality. So struggling? Nah. He's not on his best form at the moment but inflated expectations removed he's still class.

He's had some poor games but everyone does. The media and non-united fans expect him to be 100% for 90 minutes every game for 50 games. He's scored some great goals and has been denied a bunch of them. He's the heart and drive of our midfield. His second season onward will make the critics choke on their words.

The only problem with Pogba is that he hasn't performed in big games. Otherwise he's been great.
