On Saturday morning the brave TV News Anchor was informed about the death of her husband in a car crash and she completed her job by reading the news on live bulletin.

Supreet Kaur, a news reader at Chhattisgarh working for a private news channel IBC-24, kept her composure while reading the Saturday morning live news bulletin as one of the stringer called in for details of a fatal accident involving a Renault Duster at Pithara in Mahasamund district.

The reporter informed three out of five people travelling in the vehicle died at the spot but didn’t revealed the name of the deceased.

For Surpreet Kaur the information was enough to instantly realise that her husband was one of the victim of the car crash.

As Kaur’s, husband also travelled from the same route during the same time in a Renault Duster along with four of his companions.

Supreet Kaur, broke down after stepping out of the TV studio and informed her colleagues.

Her colleagues who were shocked to learn the development said, “She is an extremely brave lady."

"We are proud of her as an anchor, but what happened today has left us in shock”.

For past nine years, 28-year-old Supreet Kaur has been working as a news anchor with IBC-24, one of Chhattisgarh’s most-viewed channels, for the past nine years.

A year ago she tied her knot with Harsad Kawade and the couples were living in Raipur.

Soon after completing her job, Kaur left for the accident site. But at her office, her strength and courage is still dominating the conversation.
