After today's game United have scored a total of 46 league goals. We only need three more to equal last season's total of 49.

Let's hope the boys will get to 49 next weekend.

Here are the league goals last 5 seasons

Sir Alex 11/12: 89 goals

Sir Alex 12/13: 86 goals

Moyes 13/14: 65 goals

Van Gaal 14/15: 62 goals

Van Gaal 15/16: 49 goals

Last year should not be the standard, we've still only score one more goal than Bournemouth and 20 less than Spurs.

The amazing thing is, if we weren't so useless at finishing clear chances, we would have passed it a long time ago.

I've honestly never seen a team that is simultaneously so prolific at creating clear chances and yet also so prolific at missing those chances. It's incredible.

Seriously it's like our boys have never been 1 on 1 with just the keeper. Pogba, Rashford, Martial, even Mata has blown several chances with the just the keeper to beat. Zlatan too has had his fair share though he's usually already scored when it happens to him.

That is embarrassing. How I miss the free-scoring days, where the likes of our midfielders and wingers joined in the scoring.

I hope we can get the right tactics, and if needed the right attacking midfielder and another CF too.
