About this project
As you can tell from the three minute video, I am excited about sharing this collection of poems especially for cat lovers.
This is my purpose, to share poems that celebrate ourselves and our fellow creatures--cats, in this case. To write poems that serve as a bridge to joy, to heaven.
I will use these funds to pay for the creation of advertisements that inspire people to give a gift of love and value to their mothers for Mother's Day. I hope thousands of mothers who love cats will get this book as their gift.
The budget is only $1,500.00 because the Facebook ads will not be expensive to run. I just need funds for someone who knows how to create and launch the ads.
I know that some of these poems will comfort those who have lost a cat. Others will remind people of the depth of love they have for their cat. Others will entertain. It will be a book that many keep coming back to.
Risks and challenges
This book is being checked for typos and then it will go to a self-publishing press I've used in the past--a press that doesn't charge any fees to publish. I am trusting that I'll be working with someone who has the skills required to create good advertisements and who is able to work with me on a short timeline. The ads need to be launched quickly to they will be seen when people are thinking about what to get for a Mother's Day gift.
