Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

First, my apologies if this is considered a double-post, I posted this question on the Fedora Forum and had no luck.
I have an older Dazzle 6-in-1 flash card reader (USB 1) that works fine with everything else I've put into it. It reads a 2 gig part without a problem, but if I put in an 8 gig part it doesn't see it. The 8 gig part works fine in the Casio camera, but no luck here (MythDora 10.21, with Fedora 10).
I plugged the reader into a Win2000 box and it offered to format the SD card, so apparently it doesn't like it either. Any suggestions? Shall I replace the reader?
The 2 gig part is Q-Memory, 150X, Xpress Turbo, 2 gig, SD
The 8 gig part is PNY 8GB SDHC
No, my reader was probably made before SDHC existed. So that probably explains it, I need to get a current reader. I didn't realize there was a hardware change that obsoleted the older ones. Thanks for the help,
Right, they are generally pretty inexpensive. But I didn't want to waste time looking at readers if it was a different issue. After looking around some, I see that some readers support SDHC and some don't, so that's probably it. Now I just need to find one I like. Thanks again for the advice.
