This isnt a shit post I'm a regular lurker on this thread and I honest to god live in a cabin in the woods by myself going full on monk/hermit mode.

For me, AWALT is a helfpul overstatement. It's equivalent to "the house always wins" in a gambling context. I do think there are a few women out there who don't fit the mold, the unicorns but they're so rare that there really isn't a snowball's chance in hell I'll find one. I don't think AWALT is technically true, but it sure is practically true.

I don't object to the use of AWALT on this thread, I think it's very helpful, but when I get criticism from my blue pilled friends about the concept I tell them it's a helpful overstatement in the same way you would tell your kid that all strange men offering candy from vehicles are bad (ASMOCFV).

That sounds logical to said blue pilled friends until I start talking odds. Then we diverge.

This is a common misconception. AWALT doesn't literally mean all women are the same and there aren't some women who are still decent but that at a base biological level hypergamy for a woman will always be at play. They don't even realize it half the time because it happens at such a subconscious level. As a result, every women has the chance the become your worse nightmare. You don't need to stick your hand in the tigers pen to see that.

AWALT is like saying all me want to do is spread their seed far and wide. While not every man exhibits this trait in an explicit way, it is in the background of every man's mind and, given the right environment and circumstances, it would reveal itself.

You could be an ideal married man, but if you are on vacation on the other side of the world and a HB10 is all up in your shit...we all know what you would do.

Also with that, you don't just get to keep taking and taking M&Ms to find the ones that aren't poison. Some of those M&Ms will steal half your bank account, half your house, half your pay and half your life. When you do find that one M&M that isn't poison, you won't be able to eat it anymore because you can't afford to pay for it anymore.

It's a law of numbers.

Yes, there are billions of women on Earth. Yes there are some that are "different".

But here is the deal. You cant date that many to find out, and every failure is time off your life and thousands out of your pocket. The worse cases are massive amounts of jail time, a ruined reputation, and some have even died.

So AWALT is more of a warning to not bother being a statistic.

Thanks this is how I've always thought about it, but I wanted a better way to explain AWALT to friends who think I'm "all or nothing" exaggerating because I've had shitty experiences with women in the past. Also some posts/comments on this sub imply that AWALT is a 100% thing.

Ok let's just say that you want to stroke a dog and keep it. Then it suddenly bites you even though you give it attention, food and a place to live.. So you go away and meet more dogs and every time they bite you for what reason? You start to question things. Then one day after hundreds of dogs you decide it's not worth it.

Btw dogs are the best this is just an analogy.
