Because we faced the biggest set back possible with the tragedy of Munich. The club was in pieces. We had to rebuild entirely and, in what was the greatest comeback in the history of sport, 10 years later we won the highest accolade in club football, the European cup. No club can match our history, it doesn't matter when you become a fan because you instantly fall in love with the greatest football story ever told.

When I was a kid they were the only team that was regularly on tv and it seemed like they always won so I cheered for them. I remember RvN was probably my favourite player as a kid. As I got older more PL games were being shown on tv but the emergence of Cristiano & Rooney + the 07-08 season was what made me realize that I could never cheer for any other team. The last few years have been rough to say the least but I do hope we can get back to the highs of winning the CL

Because of SAF mainly . My admiration and love to the man and his success was superp . The great fighting mentality he installed in the team , always fighting for the result whatever goals we're down with just makes me love him and his team . That ends in my becoming a supporter of the club . Now he retired and I'm still supporting the club .

Well my family was not into football. We just watched world cups. My first encounter with Manchester United was back when I was 6 when I saw my landlord's son play FIFA. First time ever I came to know a club. Yet it didn't captivate me as much- I was into cricket.

So years passed by, I saw Beckham, Rooney and Ronaldo everywhere. I began to take football seriously when I was 10, during the 2010 world cup and I could finally comprehend the emotions that came with it. It touched me very deeply. Then came the UCL final, against Barcelona. Even though we lost that match, Barca's charisma was nothing compared to the vibes of true character I felt from United. I immediately began to sympathize the lads. Then I got into it, declared myself a fan and did my homework. I fell in love with the club, the gaffer, the players- literally everything. The club's history touched me and I began following the club religiously, through all ups and downs. Even though I asked myself how and why during Moyes' tenure that didn't change my mind. Love just happens, and when your heart's trapped in this web of emotions woven unconsciously its impossible to justify and explain. It takes cruel heart to abandon this ship which has already reserved a special place in my life. From now until the end of time I shall be devoted like priests to their gods.

Do me a favor, look up the New Orleans saints. It's American football but I was born into that as well and man they were the laughing stock of the NFL until one season they made it all the way. I'll never forget that night. It's tough I know :(
