Hello. I am a redditor who mostly posts on r/mgtow. mgtow stands for men going their own way and is essentially men forgoing much of society and its expectations - particularly women - to live for themselves. This movement came to be, in a large part, due to the treatment that men get from the legal system and family court. Many of the men there have been ruined by divorce settlements, custody decisions and, especially false criminal accusations.
Given that large swaths of the population acknowledge this phenomenon (r/mgtow now has over 20k subscribers) including lawyers and political commentators, I think it could be very helpful to get some explanations from the front line of the law.
This issue is Women like this: http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshh278BF96oKpY51NWM are constantly video taped punching the hell out of their boyfriends and yet nothing ever happens. Yet, if the guy even pushes her back to stop himself from being hit, he's arrested and deemed a domestic violence threat.
men constantly reveal stories similar to this where they get hit by their wives or gf's, many times get the violence on camera (b/c god knows no one will believe them) and then call the police and end up being the ones to be removed from the home even though they called the cops and had proof of violence against them.
Is there anyway these guys can protect themselves or is the solution simply to either accept getting beaten up by their wives or risk being arrested for defending themselves?
