Yeah, I honestly don't know. It makes me really upset when people joke about violence because of the violence I've experienced in my personal life. And so when I see a joke trivializing violence I try to say something (see my original comment). But if people don't want to listen then I guess I just have to walk away. So, I would probably say you should just walk away. Don't associate with that person, don't give them the attention they seem to be craving.
