Going for Gold is the prediction game on /r/reddevils. Every Premier League game has it's own thread. Predict the result and scorers in the correct format, and the bot (built and maintained by /u/dwntwn_dine_ent_dist) will read your prediction and update your score after the game.

How To Play

Reply to the comment of the scoreline you think it will be with your prediction. If you are sure there isn't one there already, you can be the first to comment it.

Format: Enter your scoreline, then United scorers on a new line, then minute of first goal on a third line. If predicting 0-0, put in the minute of the first yellow.

Watford 1 - 3 Manchester United

Zlatan, Zlatan, Rashford

The winner of the gold is first decided by most accurate scoreline> then number of correct goal+scorers> lastly by minute of first goal (tiebreaker)

Point System for the League:

• Correct Result: 2 points
• Correct Scoreline: 3 points
• Goal+Scorer: 1 point
• Best Prediction of game: 5 points
• Lost to a tiebreak: 3 points
• Penalty points: -1 point for every wrong goal+scorer when predicting 5 or more goals (this stops people predicting crazy scores and listing every player.)
