Someone will say it is because he's not playing CF, but playing on the wing has nothing to do with him being denied on one-to-one situations this season.

His finishing has been lacking.

He reminds me of Welbeck when he first started for us and then got better. Hopefully he will become a beast finisher with age.

Did Welbeck get much better tho?

I think Rashford got greater potential to be a good finisher, because his balance looks better. Frankly I haven't seen many players with worse balance than Welbeck. He's on the ground constantly really.

Welbeck went to the Andy Cole school of finishing. Should've scored more than they ultimately did, but still scored some that others would'nt have. His goal to start the Arsenal rout is my favorite, as I'm not sure who else would've scored it.

I feel he did but our team was just shambolic post fergie era, and even great players like rioferdy5 and persie looked like shit. I always get a sense he will score whenever he plays for Arsenal

Can't speak about everyone but I would say that for Rashford, you kind of expect this for a young player in his second season at a top club. He came in with no expectations and had a fantastic debut year. He comes into the second season with expectations which will surely pile on some pressure. Added to that is the fact that he hasn't started centrally for a stretch of games. Most of the season he has been playing off the wing. So when he comes in as the central striker, adding all of those various factors, he's not going to be playing on instinct alone (which is what strikers need to be doing if they're scoring consistently). He just needs to develop mentally to adjust to the pressure in my opinion. I think he'll be fine next year.

He's 19 for god's sake. He'll definitely improve.
