We often discuss the fact that men can size up a woman's sexual attractiveness very quickly. A quick glance at long hair, firm tits, and a tight ass does it for me in about 2 seconds.

Women need more. Male SMV is a multi-factor construct of looks, game, charisma, skills, and toughness. The best way to circumvent a womans primitive and complex SMV radar is showing her that other women already want you. Women are herd and herd follow.

This isnt some revelation but last week I saw it work so fast that I was grinning.

I was 15 mins early at some super trendy spot waiting for a plate. Ordered a glass of wine and watched the well dressed beautiful people mingle. A tall brunette with a fur vest, skin tight pants and 400 dollar sneakers caught my eye. It's because a man's SMV is not immediately apparent by his looks.

An attractive enviable girl shows clear desire for you - it communicates so much. All of the "I wonder if's..." that women have about men can then be clearer.

You likely have an attractive attitude with women.

You likely know how to fuck.

You likely have value - whatever that is - the other girl has already determined it to be true.

Women also compete with each other for the attention of guys, the other girl has already displayed that your attention is worthwhile, so then she has to test her attractiveness, seductivity on you. Attractive - very attractive - girls can easily live in a fun state of needing continual proof of their attractiveness - because their sense of self, and also their "power" is tied up in their appearance and effect they can have on guys.

You affront her expectations - you dissolve her power.

She will be used to having a powerful effect on guys, mannerisms, a flicker of eyes, playfulness, soft lingering touch etc....

When a guy shows himself to be completely in control in the face of this it can dissolve her power, her sense of control of the interaction, and her frame.

Not the easiest of things to describe - and a guy doing it won't be showing indifference or lack of interest - its more he'll be communicating by his body language, words, gestures, responses, that he is control. And this can frighten yet excite her, because guys that have it are rare.

Preselection from the point of view of a woman is not herd mentality, unless we're talking about MASSIVE social proof like "TV star" to really make it a "herd".

If what you've said been true - when you enter a nightclub with a girl on your arm she would loose attraction for you as majority of women in the nightclub are not attracted to you when you enter.

It's not herd mentality - it's preselection only - IOW you have proved to your girl that you have "good alpha genes" (or whatever) AND because attraction is universal across all males and females (same basic principles) - the other girls immediately pickup the fact that you are attractive.

Preselection is a form of universal "hard currency" of attraction you carry with you in a form of the girl.

I don't see how this necessarily contradicts the description of a herd mentality, though. It seems to me that providing those random women in the nightclub aren't show displays of being repulsed by the guy, the woman on your arm will probably not be influenced either way (and just default to preexisting feelings of attraction for the guy). If the women started showing demonstrative positive or negative signs towards the guy, then the woman on his arm could be influenced for the positive or negative--which would go along with herd thinking.

I read months ago that there is evidence that divorce can be "infective" if one's friends are doing it. Wouldn't suprise me at all if this effect is stronger with women.
