Is Lingard good enough? (self.reddevils)

I read in the paper there were talks of 120k a week (whether he is demanding it or being offered I have no idea) but IMO he is super average at best, what do you think?

Sure he may not have the huge apparent potential the likes of Rashford or Martial have. But he gives his all during games, loves United and scores important goals for us. At the end of the day that's what counts.

He's a decent enough squad player. He comes in for cups/injuries and drives the ball forwards, always scores worldies and makes intelligent runs. You aren't going to find many players who are miles ahead of him who are willing to play the role he does. He shouldn't be starting over Mkhi or Mata unless we have an injury crisis but we need more players than just a starting XI.
