Alt-righters know how to carefully craft their ideology to appeal not only to white males, but POC. As an exmuslim, black male, who used to live in the UAE and spending a regrettable amount of time being on these reactionary type boards I saw firsthand how memes can craft and change the way a person thinks. I've had to leave that community of exmuslims because they've by and large been infected the_dumbass and neonazis who want to use them as pawns. I first saw how full of shit TiA were when I posted a legitimate TERF who wanted to end all trans people's lives just because they're 'fake'. Barely anything. But that exact same user has something to say about straight males and PiV sex? All the upvotes calling her everything in the book.

A lot of things happen when one posts a racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or islamophobic meme. If the forum is receptive, it's everyone laughing the joke or making their own additions. If someone calls it out, they're accused of concern trolling or taking the joke too seriously or being an 'sjw pc warrior'. Did you observe that? The original bigotry of the meme goes unquestioned, but its inherent bigotry is. Over the course of a few years, it snowballs until not being a white supremacist = sjw in the modern discourse. Memes ARE cancer, but not for the reason channers think. I recall a post a few months of a former altrighter outlining these tactics and while I said nothing on the original post, I can corroborate somewhat what he said. White supremacists get their ranks from not only white males but socially awkward kids who think sjws are the worst from every ethnicity as I was part of a board/group that espoused exactly that; despite having almost no white people. One of the more frequent posters are two out of shape, neckbeardy types. The kicker? Filipino and Lebanese. Yet they're hitting the checkmarks for white supremacist bootlickers and legit call for extermination. Do you wanna know how this forum became neonazi with almost no white people in it started?
