I've found United a joy to watch this season compared to previous years. I know we've had way too many frustrating results, especially at home. But I just want to say that, even if we are still way off in terms of points, this is the kind of football I've been missing since Sir Alex sadly departed the club.

I can't think of a game where we have succumbed meekly to our fate, not since that fateful game against Chelsea last year. There is hunger, there is fight, and there is a never say die attitude that I believe is the reason we have been one of the hardest teams to beat in Europe over the last few months. When we are chasing a game or a result, we always up the pace and create the chances we need to - so many times we have hit the woodwork or had decisions go against us, or come up against an average keeper having a worldie, though we have lacked that vital finishing touch.

Ultimately, football is a simple game. If you don't score, you can't win. That fact never paints a clear picture though, and I believe we have done everything bloody but score that vital goal in so many of our games. Imo, we are so clearly miles closer to where we should be than we ever where under Van Gaal or Moyes.

I don't want to tell anyone they can't be unhappy with the football, or that they can't have an opinion or vent. Of course you can, and ultimately if we are this far off the top and still outside the top 4, then criticism is absolutely justified. I just feel that things are not so bleak. I'm loving watching United again. I'm excited for every game.
