I am by no means educated on any of this stuff at all. I'm fairly disconnected from the politics and talking points. I recently found myself in their sub reading a few threads. They seem to be insanely focused on genitalia and fetishes.

My question is about those trans people who do not masturbate or engage in sexual behaviors. How does this fit into the gender critical world view of all trans people transitioning for strictly sexual purposes?

They think that trans men are doing it to opt out of the patriarchy or to avoid being discriminated against for being butch.

I think if they had an argument for ace trans women, it would be bc they are doing something similar to avoid being crapped on as effeminate men.

I didn't 'opt out' of the patriarchy that I didn't even know existed in my day to day life. I assume trans men wouldn't be thinking anything except I'm not a woman, I need to be the man I know I am, less estrogen, more testosterone please.

In the case of trans women, they'd claim that those people don't exist, and are lying to facilitate their schemes to invade women's spaces and commit rape.

Another popular answer is "internalized homophobia". Too much internalized homophobia to ever act on your "gay" (straight) attraction even after transitioning.

Alternatively, a lot of TERFs believe in Blanchard's discredited autogynephilia theory, which among other things state that asexual trans women are actually straight men whose sexual fetish for being a woman is so powerful that it has completely replaced all other aspects of their sexuality, including all forms of sexual activity. If that sounds like barely-coherent bullshit to you, you're probably reading it correctly.

In the case of trans men, the traditional answer is that they're trying to steal male privilege. Or that they're just confused butch lesbians (again with the internalized homophobia theory) who have been brainwashed by the evil trans women into thinking tomboys don't exist.

Their viewpoint feels like a cisgendered mindset of "this is what I think it would be like if I was trans" and since they operate on a very sexually motivated mindset it's translated onto trans identities or something.. sorry if i'm messing this up lmao. I'm too new to this stuff.

Schemes to invade women's spaces? Like as in.. be a woman? lol.. And like.. i'd fight to defend a woman's life any day of the week? the other thing I don't even want to say it's disgusting.

Are they saying that being a woman is a fetish?
