There has always been a tendency to shame men for being single, or more accurately shaming men for NOT having the liability of a woman and children.

Single men should be looked upon with awe and inspiration, not shame !!!

If you're doing it for other people's praise, you're doing it wrong.

That being said...a little bit of humor goes a long way anytime someone has tried to give me shit for being single. Call them out in a funny way and they won't say anything like that again.
