Those of you who like to see him play and cheer him on to try and give him cult hero like status should be ashamed of yourselves.

Anyone who didn't start watching United five years ago should know that this guy is everything Man United isn't. He is an utter cunt of a player.

Don't know how you could give Fellaini shit when all he does is put 100% into every match and scores some important goals. Sure he's not the greatest player in the world, but at least he plays for the badge on the shirt.

The football we play when Fellaini is on the pitch is the problem, especially when we're chasing the game, not Fellaini himself. I'd much prefer us not to play with him, but other than his shooting, I thought he had a decent enough game today, and was definitely not afraid to get into the box, and try to take chances himself.

Over the last while, one of the reasons we've been drawing so much is because players are not getting up there, and doing everything to take the chances that come their way. He's not a Messi, or Ronaldo, but he's not a coward, despite all that's gone on with him here. Kudos for him for all that, and his recent performances, but it's not his fault our delivery is 90% dreadful, and mostly too early, and inaccurate. Nor that we lose our shit too often for any attacking flow.

100%. Fellaini has pretty good positioning and instinct going forward as well and I feel the hate is coming because he miss hit a couple chances (even then, they were very very hard chances to put away) but his positioning was pretty well spot on, and he is playing exactly the way he is meant to be playing by being another body in the box for the long ball when chasing a game.

The long ball tactic is synonymous with dissappointment because it is deployed to chase a game, and sadly Fellaini being the embodiment of this from the 'bad old days' has left him a scapegoat for idiots to berate after a loss when it doesn't work.

I think it is fairly obvious Jose has a role for him to play in this team, and to Fellainis credit I think he's been pretty solid.

It's not his fault, he's not a striker and today he was chucked up top to do a role he is not playing every game.

He's a useful midfielder, and a great asset in defence. happy to have him around.

You're aggressive about it and it's going to rub people the wrong way but you're right. I'm sure he's a lovely bloke but he should be nowhere near a United team. He's got a great attitude for the game and I wish more of our players cared as much as he does but that's not a reason to keep the lad.

Every player on your team isn't going to be world class. As long as he's not the regular starter, I have no problem with someone like him coming in and playing. He gives effort and clearly enjoys playing for Manchester United. Sometimes that's the type of person you need on your team. He honestly was not that bad.

If we didn't overpay for him, he would not get nearly the shit he does now.
