Ever been shamed for having standards? (self.MGTOW)

Women used to act as though I said something offensive when I shared I could never date a single mother, or someone overweight, or someone with an attitude, or someone with less ambition than myself. These are subjective preferences of course but the reactions I got were not met well.

I was seen as unrealistic, unfair, elitist, or just plain out of touch with reality when I said I prefer a demure type of woman to date. To them, a guy should feel lucky a woman gives him the time of day. He gets no say in the caliber, whereas they do.

What's your story of being called out because you dared to yearn for a partner who has cooking skills or is traditional?

Back in the 80's, I wouldn't ask a fat girl to Junior prom. Got shit about it from a lot of people for a month, until prom night. Showed up with a hot blonde from church. The "after prom" was on boat down a major local waterway. Fat chick eventually had enough of a tantrum that they kicked her off the boat. They docked, threw her off, and went on about business. and Got back to school the next Monday and fat chick was trying to spread the rumor that my prom date was a prostitute I'd hired, even though several people there knew the blonde in question.

Oh yeah, couple years ago. When I was 22 and working as a cashier in college, I started a FWB thing with one of my co-workers. I'd take her to Panera or Red Robin and buy her some soup, then she'd suck my dick in the lot, I'd fingerbang her, and we'd go home. It was nothing complicated and was honestly enjoyable.

She proclaimed feelings, told me she loved me, and it spread throughout work- but she wanted to keep the psuedo-relationship going. I didn't return them because who could possibly love such a slut? When people asked if we were a couple, I'd deny it vehemently and get shamed like crazy by other females. "Why would you continue to this to her if she cares so much about you?", "Why won't you just date her?", "You think you're too good for her? What's wrong with you?"

She had a thing with yet another one of our co-workers before me, and we shared a lot of details. She was sending us both the same naked pics, she'd meet up with him and suck his dick the same way she did mine, she'd fake medical problems to get his attention like she did mine... it just drove me insane that I was expected to just let some crazy asshole into my heart for no real reason other than "Why not?". It actually just ended a couple months ago. She's fucked at least confirmed two guys since the "split" (probably more) and has another FWB situation right now with a Marine who just left, so I guarantee she'll "cheat" on his ass with yet another sap.
