Today, the gentler sex is screeching on the Twitter and the Facebook and various other brands of hamster wheel are posting about the "Gender Pay Gap."
For the uninitiated, the "Gender Pay Gap" is a claim made by Feminists that women, in general, are compensated less than men in general, therefore, PATRIARCHY. This conclusion does not take into account the lack of women's presence (thankfully) in certain industries in which hazard pay is the norm, or that women slip out of high pay, long hours industries due to burn out or "BRB Playing Mommy."
But Feminists aren't going to let facts fuck up their narrative.
The question is this: Why do we, as men, still have jobs?
After all, the Patriarchy is pervasive, the science is settled on the pay gap, and we are lorded over by evil KKKorparashuns.
Why do men still have jobs?
If our evil corporate overlords could, in one swift motion, slash their payrolls by 10%-20% by firing men and hiring only women, why wouldn't they? Depending on the industry and size of a business, payroll represent 30%-70% of business overhead. Surely, any smart business person would want to keep some of that money from flying out the door and in a corporate setting it could be deemed a breach of fiduciary duty to shareholders to not take steps to decrease unnecessary expenditures.
Why do men still have jobs?
Women now graduate from colleges at higher rates than men. This is not cause for concern, nor is it "unequal," but a triumph of feminism over the forces of Patriarchy. Presumably, these women are "more educated" (disputable) than the unwashed, uncredentialled men who didn't pay for 4+ years at Indoctrination Camp. Surely, for all of their education, women would add greater value and profitability to any business retaining their services.
So, why do men still have jobs?
