Funny thing is, I have a similar story to this that actually happened. A couple of months back, some friends and I visited a buddy of ours at his university. We all smoked a few joints and then got back in the elevator extremely fried. At this point there were about 6 of us in there when the elevator stopped at a floor and some random guy and girl came in. For the next 20-25 seconds or so (felt like forever because high) nobody in the elevator said a word. At this point, my stoned ass couldn't handle the awkward silence and I started cracking up. Fortunately everyone else in the elevator was also weirded out by the silence and burst into laughter (sounds kind of $100% but I swear it's true) so me laughing didn't make it more awkward. Shortly after we finished laughing, we reached our floor and went on with our night. Then everyone who was on the elevator gave me crisp $100 bills and began clapping.
