Metperial Titanium Little Bit More

This is the strange one because the creator has successfully created and fulfilled past kickstarters, but the project updates definitely have earned it a place in this subreddit.

There have been 23 updates on the project, starting from the beginning of the project to now is a clear course of each update having less to do with the project than the last.

The first round of updates were fairly normal. Talking about setting up for the development of the tool and so on. The first sign that something was really off was when the creator sent update #17, which was primarily about a "raccoon dog" that he apparently rescued and rehabilitated and not really about the project.

It didn't take long for the updates to get even stranger in update #19. In this update, the project creator primarily focused on lawsuit having something to do with him being kidnapped and tortured by Australian police after he saved an old woman from being punched in the face. I personally wrote off any chance of ever receiving the item after this update.

After some long periods of silence and an update thanking kickstarter for their understanding, we got to March 29th. If it felt like the wheels came off the bus with the update about the lawsuit, then March 29th is the day that the bus was set on fire.

There were three separate updates sent within about a 3 hour periodthat combine as some sort of announcement that he won't give in to some mysterious troll. Given the context of the previous posts, I am not sure if this is an internet troll, or if the creator is now concerned about a monster dwelling under a bridge somewhere.

The first of the three updates that day was an apparent public/private message to kickstarter itself announcing that he was suspending the project due to a mentally ill troll. (pot meet kettle?)

The second updateattempts to explain the first and annoucnes that he is on strike.

The third update promises refunds (in 9 months) to backers who have not chosen to side with the mysterious enemy troll. If you have supported the troll, then I guess you aren't getting a refund.
