One thing that definitely matters is capital accumulation. Trump is the symptom,
#capitalism is the disease. -
How is capitalism a disease might I ask?
-
It's an important question. 1. It separates us from our own work, forcing us to work for others and to sell our labor for a wage in a market
-
2. The profits made by the owner class are a result of our hard work. You're never paid what you're worth otherwise there would be no profit
-
3. The profit motive leads to lots of bad things. Like cost-cutting with harmful results. There's still child labor in Africa, for example.
-
4. The market is an incredibly inefficient way of distributing resources. As we have seen, wealth accumulates. Capitalism promotes this.

For Sale: a slightly used democracy? Needs tuning, new tires, brakes, but has good bones. Title in hand! Hello Russia? Venezuela? Haiti?
-
We are not a democracy, we are a constitutional republic! Even I who only made it through 2 yrs of college knows that!
-
Our ¡ democracy ! is what's at stake here- our governance creates our constitution and its republic.
-
We live in a Republic not a democracy.... You need to research what the difference is!
-
Yes you are a Republic, but also an indirect Democracy, so both your points are valid.
-
I'm not arguing I'm explaining. We do not need a Christian cult confederate alt-right government in either case. Buy a history book.
-
We also don't need a George Soros run government either but that's what the Democrats want!
-
You are certainly well versed in GOP propaganda. Think freely, and understand the problems with CItizen's United are real!
