EFF and Electronic Frontiers Georgia on Net Neutrality

April 4, 2017 -
11:00am to 12:00pm
Atlanta, GA

Join EFF Senior Staff Attorney Mitch Stoltz and Electronic Frontier Alliance ally Electronic Frontiers Georgia on April 4 for a timely conversation on net neutrality.

Net neutrality has a contentious history and an uncertain future. Mitch will talk about what Net Neutrality is and isn’t, what it means for technologists, and what might replace it. In particular, Mitch will look at H.R. 509, a bill the Georgia Legislature is now considering that would require every Internet-enabled device sold in the state to include “digital blocking capability” defined by the state.

This event is free with paid parking available.

April 4 from 11 am to 12 pm

WHERE:
Georgia Institute of Technology
Stephen C. Hall Building - Room 102
