how many of you own successful business

My business is around 5 years old, $500k yearly, couple employees, runs itself, I have not done much for past 2-3 years. But my partner runs it, keeps it going. If I worked more than 5 days a year it would be much larger. Initially, a girl burned me right as I was starting up... which motivated me.

But then halfway through I got distracted by another girl (who was a loser / stoner), and coasted along. Her bad habits brought me down, her drugs messed me up bad. I am making a come back. But I find it difficult to motivate myself; I'm not a provider for wife and kids. I have little incentive to work hard at it. So I'm not... I would much rather be in the provider type role with a normal family.

Obviously society has made women and their behavior abhorrent today though, so it is not much of an option. I don't love money or care for the freedom it provides. I live a minimalist lifestyle and wouldn't know what to do with money if I had it. So, my business is kind of coasting along and I'm not sure as to how much I want to grow. Gaining social status just brings other idiots out of the woodwork to bother you. Anytime I make a few changes, people start getting friendly.

Dunno man. It's all pointless. I'm happy enough to eat steaks and burgers on regular basis, and just.. watch the days go by?

Successful for myself, started it right after child support ended. It provides me with enough to live a happy life.

As soon as my slavery ended I became successful and happy. Let this be a lesson to all young men avoid the shackles of wage slavery and torment by a woman with the power of the entire government its media and courts behind her.

I think it entirely depends on why you are starting a business.

If you are just doing it for money, then once you have enough money, the incentive is gone. In this scenario, being in a marriage would make for dedicated businessman...because there would never be enough money.

If you are doing it because you are passionate about it, because you want to bring a product or service into the world that actually benefits people and speaks to your true calling, then the money would be irrelevant. In this case, a marriage would only drag you down. Your partner would not understand why you work so hard when you already have a ton of money.

Just look at Elon Musk. As cucked as he may be, he legitimately wants to die on Mars. All the divorces and setbacks in the world won't deter that guy. He has enough money to live a thousand lifetimes, so he's clearly motivated by something else.
