Out of the mouths of babes... (self.GenderCritical)

So, yesterday, I was standing in a line holding my 14-month old son. My son is just learning to talk, and he only knows 4 words so far (mama, daddy, uh-oh, and cheese). Lately, he uses "daddy" as a name for any man (he knows daddy is a man, but he hasn't yet grasped that all men aren't called daddy).

Anyhow, behind us in line was a MtT who was not passing very well. My baby looks at the man, his eyes light up, and he points and starts saying "Daddy!! Daddy!! Daddy!!" (loudly) in his most excited voice. What can I say? If a baby can see that men are men regardless of their clothes and makeup, why is it so hard for the rest of society?

It was really cute.

When my daughter was 3 or 4 she saw Caitlyn Jenner on TV and asked why that man was dressed like a woman. Despite what people might want to believe, humans are pretty good at determining what sex someone is, from a very early age,and it generally doesn't rely on clothes or make up.

This is because children haven't been brainwashed completely of gender and can't be confused by clothing yet.

Agreed, but I also believe that many women just pretend that mtf are women without considering the consequences. (I did) So, we can all see its a man in woman's clothing, but children just lack the filter and haven't been called transphobic yet (ha :( )
