Marla Maples posted an old picture on Instagram of herself playing basketball with Ivanka
Donald Trump’s second wife took her to Instagram on Thursday to share some kind words about the former step-daughter, Ivanka.
Marla Maples, 53, uploaded a shot of himself posed with Ivanka, then 15, at a charity basketball even on Sep 28, 1997.
She recalled asking her then-step-daughter to join, calling the tournament a superior moment’.
In September of 1997, The two played together at the Shooting Gallery’s Third Annual Celebrity basketball game at Hunter College.
Marla’s attention was brought to the photo when an Ivanka fan account posted it, and Marla decided to follow suit.
‘I was 1st asked coach the celeb team since it was all boys playing, and I said that if I can play, and bring some girls along I’m all in!’ she wrote, referring to the Third Annual Basketball Game of the famous rifle Gallery at Hunter College.
Marla clearly remembers her time with Ivanka fondly, though the 1st Daughter said last year that she and her former stepmother aren’t close.

She said, “Marla was out in California and really my relationship is with Tiffany.”
Marla began seeing Donald Trump when he was still married to Ivanka’s mom, Ivanka, and their affair was tabloid fodder at the time. Last year, Marla also congratulated the Trump children on their ‘grace’ during the Republican National Convention.
