Thursday during a panel discussion moderated by CNBC at the International Arctic Forum in Arkhangelsk, Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed allegations his government interfered in last year’s presidential election.

Putin said the charges were being used as a tool for “domestic American political agendas.”
“[W]e said on numerous occasions and I reiterate that we are confident and positive and know for sure that opinion polls in the United States show that very many people are friendly towards the Russian Federation, and I’d like to tell these people that we perceive and regard the United States as a great power with which we want to establish good partnership relations,” Putin said. “All those things are fictional, illusory and provocations, lies. All these are used for domestic American political agendas. The anti-Russian card is played by different political forces inside the United States to trade on that and consolidate their positions inside.”

Yeah those pesky Russians "influenced" the election by supposedly "hacking" DNC officials & leaking information that let the American public know how corrupt Democrats are..."Shame on them for exposing our shameful doings!"
Call me when you have evidence they stuffed the ballot boxes for Trump or rigged the voting machines.
Cahal the Mad™ • 16 hours ago
And the funny thing is, it's actually mexico that influenced our election with mexican citizens being allowed to vote in our elections.
Peter • 15 hours ago
The media influenced our elections with fabricated stories.
Al Kida • 12 hours ago
fake news by fake news organizations: CNN MSNBC FOX all the dinosaur media failed, it influenced people to vote for Trump by their overwhelming bias against him and fake polls, I saved a Huffington Post poll that showed Crooked had a 98% chance of winning just before the election ended..
Jonathan Kobble • 9 hours ago
They'll continue to fabricate as long as they exist.
VioletsAreBlue22 • 9 hours ago
The MSM's fabrications on cable may be short lived, as customers will cut the cord and choose which channels they actually want to pay for. CNN will be the first to fall by the wayside.
Navspecwargru • 13 hours ago
Quite true as well.

jimmym99755 • 12 hours ago
Nope - YOU couldn't be more incorrect actually.
Get lost Troll.
Simon Battle • 13 hours ago
The whole Russia BS is a giant deflection and because of the main stream media and the Bushes and McCain the deep state is getting away with it.
Big Bob in Ottawa • 12 hours ago
There is no deep state but there is a Russian oligarchy eager to manipulate American foreign policy in an effort to install a friendly government in the U.S.A.
Nadzieja Batki • 12 hours ago
Oh give it up already.
PerthWarriorsRFC • 29 minutes ago
You would like that but no.
Tim (a part-time luthier) • 11 hours ago
I doubt that many people in the USA (at least those who have working brains) worry much about there being any Russian influences at all. But even setting that aside, NOBODY here is worried that Russia is going to succeed in any efforts to install a Russia-friendly government here.
We're scarier to Russia than Russia is to us. The US is the country that has armed troops stationed all around the globe, not the Russians. And you are quite wrong about there not being a real "Deep State."
Marina Dilbone • 11 hours ago
No deep state? BS on youvand the Russian nothingburger
jimmym99755 • 12 hours ago
Where's your evidence? What? - you don't HAVE any? What a shock!!

jimmym99755 • 12 hours ago
Ban this troll.
Big Bob in Ottawa • 12 hours ago
Actually there is NO evidence of that but there is evidence that the Trump campaign benefited from Russian interference Flynn is about to spill the beans in exchange for immunity. The traitors will be exposed.
Al Kida • 12 hours ago
Thanks Bob for taking some Mexicans off our hands, they might not like the cold crappy weather up there, but free stuff is free stuff no matter what border they illegally cross!

The House and Senate bipartisan intel committees, the FBI, CIA, etc, all believe based on their evidence that Russia hacked the DNC and engaged in a disinformation campaign to hurt Clinton and help Trump. Even if Trump knew nothing about this, we have to investigate it to protect our country in the future, not to hurt Trump. This is NOT about Trump vs the libs, this is about the USA vs Vladimir Putin. Breitbart just gave ex KGB, journalist-murdering Vladimir Putin a megaphone. I shouldnt have to say this, but while congress and the senate are far from perfect, we can all agree we trust them more than Vlad f---ing Putin, right??
Alti • 14 hours ago
- Who "hacked" Podesta? Why don't the gov't reports mention Podesta?
- Why didn't the FBI ever examine the allegedly hacked servers?
- Do you seriously expect people to believe conclusions from a DNC donor regarding who is responsible for the alleged hacking? (Especially after Crowdstrike was already forced to admit much of their report was a lie this week).
- Who cares who the hacker was if you can't tie the hacker to Wikileaks?
We've been investigating for 8 months. They've found nothing. This has become a witch hunt, and it needs to end.
Twilight Sparkle • 11 hours ago
It didn't become a witch hunt. It was a witch hunt from the beginning.
Good points!
mactoid • 17 hours ago
Except it wasn't disinformation. No Dem has denied anything that came out, be it Russian led or domestically driven, which hasn't been ruled out.
BSwire.com • 16 hours ago
Exactly! If it were all lies, they could make a libel case in a court of law (against whoever they feel is responsible), but since it was true, they got nothing.
Simon Battle • 13 hours ago
Nothing but deflection.
stanford67 • 14 hours ago
I think i agree with you. Are the Russians hacking me?
adolph putler • 12 hours ago
Ask mike flynn hes eager to tell anyone who can help him stay out of jail

"disinformation campaign to hurt Clinton"
Sure...the "Russians" conducted mass brainwashing programs throughout all 50 states against millions of American voters to plant a seed in their minds that Clinton may not be fit to be POTUS and that's why she lost, right? Not because of her track record, character or policy ideas...
[Side note: Putin has evolved into some kind of magical wizard these days, being able to single-handedly rig the U.S. election and, so I've heard, the Brexit vote as well. Maybe he'll rig Dancing With The Stars next or American Idol...His powers are limitless!]
OldTimer60 • 16 hours ago
Providing factual/truth isn't misinformation or really even interfering in a election. If you want to see prime examples of interfering in other countries then you should look at the
Odummers actions in the Israeli and Brexit votes just to name a couple.
If he was involved, Putin provides facts and truth. Odummer provided money for the Israeli elections and threats of trade embargoes against the Brexit vote. You can decide on which constitutes more of interference in other countries elections.
adolph putler • 12 hours ago
Your idiot post stinks like vomit president chump is a traitor, Flynn flipped
PerthWarriorsRFC • 25 minutes ago
Putin provides facts and truth. Even in the KGB that's hilarious!
OldTimer60 • 8 minutes ago
Obviously you don't know how the misinformation and propaganda campaigns work.
The truth is the best tool to use whenever possible. Notice the libtards didn't even bother trying to deny that those weren't really valid emails. He didn't have to even say anything, just let the criminals speak for themselves.
Now would Putin lie? In a heartbeat. Did he need to lie in this instance? Nope, the libtards said everything that needed to be said for him.
The Light • 12 hours ago
You should go over to russia old timer, and join your comrade in his truth.
Abelard • 15 hours ago
I agree -- the Russians bet on the H.L. Mencken theory of the American voter ("No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public"), and they won.
RT • 13 hours ago
That's why Hilary won the popular vote, ehh?
adolph putler • 12 hours ago
Russian times, thick headed lout, it allowed trump to have a possibility.
