My name is Brant. I'm an entrepreneur, runner, and chiropractor in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The benefits of balance therapy are tremendous in the clinical world of injury prevention among athletes. Vibration therapy is used by physical therapists, chiropractors, and sport's medicine physicians to help intensify certain exercises.
Why not combine them?
VibraDome is an unstable dome equipped with a variable speed electrical vibration motor. Vibration speed ranges from 10Hz to 60Hz (rotations per second)
Size: 16 inch diameter plate sits about 6 inches off the ground.
Amplitude: 2-3mm
Materials: Bottom plate is hard SBR rubber and top plate is vinyl-laminated slip and abrasion-resistant plywood.
Designed and Assembled in the USA.
Timeline
April 2017 - Begin manufacturing (Manufacturers have been selected and are ready to begin as soon as funding is attained.)
June 2017 - Begin kitting and assembling orders.
July 2017 - Begin shipping and fulfilling orders.
September-November 2017 - All backers receive their VibraDomes.

Risks and challenges
There is a always a chance that production quality of the components will not arrive in the same quality as the prototype samples. If that is the case, we will have to re-order the components and tweak them to the correct quality. However, we have already received samples and submitted specific quality requirements to our manufacturers. Also, we have included in the timeline above enough of a time buffer in case this happens.
The components are pretty simple and it is not likely for there to be much variation between sample prototypes and production parts.
