Anyone at blizzard like to answer what the fuck this exactly means? The OP referred you to your own rules to prove he's not breaking any rules and the best reply is "not appropriate for the game" get fucked blizzard.

Edit: Hey OP you might need to reread blizzards naming rules.

Minor violations include any names that:

Are trademarked or licensed by a company or an individual.

(Trumps a trademark)

Consist of any title prefix attached to a character's name, fantasy-based or not (e.g. Kingmike, Presidentsanchez). Consist of any references to the real world, including people and places (Britneyspears, Newyork, Austinpowers).

Trump breaks this rule as well. Hey man been there done that, they won't do something about your name until someone reports you. I played WoW with a guy named "Sealclubber" for 2 years until all the sudden some dick bag reports him for an offensive name and he has to change it with no option.

They censor and sometimes outright change what you type into the game, make you connect to their servers for their single player games so you don't have the freedom to mod or create your own content, and of course, cater to SJW nonsense for the naming rules.

Former <GM> here and I love your name. However, when I worked there 10+ years ago (when WoW was released) it was against the rules then sadly. Naming your toon after an IRL person is a violation (although rarely enforced unless reported) and you probably triggered some in-game cucks.

Blizzard has one of the most cucked GM team in the industry. I actually got into a fight with one of them and managed to get a hold of her irl. Guess what she turned out to be a literal tumblr landwhale. She was typing sparkles after every ticket so i should have guessed it. That was btw years ago nowadays they don't even have a solid game to play it. WoW is dead since wotlk , starcraft is okay if you are korean. Cardstone , HoTS and Overhijab are embarrassing. The only reason this pandering cucky company is still around that they have a loyal fanbase , few based people still working for them and bunch of addicted liberal losers on welfare playing it 24hours a day.

Keep escalating the ticket until they force you to close it. This is what I do when I don't get what I want. At least they have to deal with me forever.

edit: Never solve your problem yourself on the ticket if you aren't satisfied. Make them resolve or close it.

OK guys, before we get all crazy, unless they've changed the policy, the code of conduct states that names of famous people are not allowed. The employee should have said this, of course. Here's what I could find regarding their naming policy. Sorry if it was already posted, I searched and didn't see anything.

Section A – Names

The first section of the Code deals with what you’re allowed (and not allowed) to call your guild or character. Please remember this is not the actual Code, it is my easy-to-understand paraphrase of the rules as they appear.

You can’t impersonate a GM or another Blizzard employee. -No names of a sexual, offensive, vulgar, obscene, or racial nature or otherwise offensive in any way. Yes, it says any way. If you make a cool name that you don’t think anybody will understand, and somebody figures it out and complains… you’re in trouble.

-You can’t use a name that somebody else has legal rights to.

-No names of famous people.

-You can’t use a name that is trademarked or service marked — whether it’s registered or not.

-No deities or religious figures. You can’t name your toon Jesus, Buddha or Virginmary.

-You can’t steal a name from Blizzard’s content.

-No names related to drugs, sex, or criminal activity.

-Names that comprise a complete or partial sentence.

-No gibberish! No rolling your face over the keyboard to make a name.

-They once again make a specific rule about pop culture icons. No Batman. No Britneyspears.

-No “leet” or “dudespeak”. Like “Roflcopter”, “xxnewbxx” or “Pwnyou”.

-Any kind of name with any kind of a title in it.

I mean, sure you can complain about triggered people who reported you, on the other hand you can't really blame Blizzard for applying the ToS you "signed" for.

And as an avid video game player, I prefer when politics stay out of it anyway, unless there's some specific context.

Blizzard has sucked for years. Oldschool Blizzard didn't give a fuck, look at how nasty and gritty their games were in the 90s & early 2000s. I remember stumbling upon nude impaled bodies in Diablo 1, and StarCraft 1 had an incredible dark asthetic, sound design, and soundtrack.

Now everything they make has that sterile, cartoony look, very little gore, and SJW themes everywhere.
