How did you guys find MGTOW? :P (self.MGTOW)

I was just wondering how you guys found MGTOW. I personally found MGTOW by watching a lot of feminist cringe compilations, which eventually led me to Sandman.

Me it was all the backlash for the movie 'The Red Pill'

I tend to gravitate to things that others tell me I shouldn't look into :)

I had never even heard of it, and some 'typical feminist' (Pulled the pin on the fat grenade right after marriage, cut off all her hair, and went bitter), went off on my Facebook about the evils of this movie. I watched the trailer. MRA shit was all new to me. I thought it was interesting, and then the 'suggestions' that YouTube offered up were all MGTOW stuff.

I've never wanted kids or marriage. Every relationship I got into ran into that obstacle at some point or another. Had a couple of pregnancy scares that ended up being a mistake or straight up lie. Then I started reading about guys being trapped with CS and the drama involved with it. I enjoy reading that shit for some reason. Makes me realise how free I am. I guess from there I ended up at mgtow, and it makes sense.

Remember how free you are brothers. It's easy to forget. Feel that light, airy feeling? No CS, no bills, no vagimony. Feels fucking good man.

edit: Dave Foley's divorce horror story was one of the first, then sandman. Then Messenger Rising, then the rest. I still listen to Messengers vids almost daily.

I went the slight more vintage route - ManWomanMyth (which led to other more common people today like Karen)

Stumbled across his stuff about 5 years ago. Id been googling certain questions (simple stuff like 'what is the opposite of misogyny') about once or twice a year for a few years before that, and finally got some results.

I also feel v old when you mention ppl like Sandman, I remember watching his stuff when he had well under 1k subs (also watched some of Sargon's stuff around 2k because it was linked on the avfm forums).

PS - technically I am answering 'how did you find the manosphere' rather than mgtow specifically since there is a massive amount of overlap (especially when first finding them).
