So I came across the following video on channel Athlean-X, titled "5 Best Exercises for Men (ACCORDING TO WOMEN!)". The video (link) lists the following muscle groups as being the most attractive for women:

1. Glutes
2. Abs
3. Chest
4. Biceps
5. Shoulders
Disclaimer: Athlean-X gives pretty good training advice overall for a variety of goals, both functional and aesthetic. This specific video was geared toward aesthetics from a female perspective, this isn't some red-pill or blue-pill channel.
I'm posting this because I wanted to share some observations about the red-pill "Just lift bruh" attitude. Notice that some of the muscle groups NOT listed include: lower back, upper back, quads, calves, forearms, lats, and triceps. I've noticed similar lists of "what women want" in many fitness/men's magazines (Men's Health - type magazines, not the magazines for serious lifters)
Keep this list in mind.
Olympic lifting (clean-and-jerk, snatch), 2 of the three powerlifting events (squat, deadlift), and many strongman events (clean and press, atlas stones, tractor-tire/car flip, keg toss, farmer's walk, Conan's wheel, Yoke carry, power stairs, and many more) are primarily performed by the legs and posterior-chain with good grip strength being necessary. Having powerful triceps is necessary for the pushing component (overhead lifting, pushing weighted sleds). The pulling exercises in calisthenics are heavily driven by the latissimus muscles.
Despite the fact that legs, posterior chain, and forearms being the prime movers for actual strength competitions, these muscle groups aren't at the top of the list of what females are drawn to (they kinda come close with "glutes"). Despite lats being a major group used in calisthenics (and also necessary for the "V-shape" torso for those interested in aesthetics), these aren't mentioned in the video. Furthermore, there's no mention of hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, or wrist mobility in this video or any similar lists. There's never mention of improving ones cardiovascular endurance or balance.
Now, there's nothing wrong with exercising for aesthetics and the muscle groups mentioned in this video are important. I merely want to point out that people who lift solely to "impress women" will shortchange themselves since they will neglect many muscle groups that are truly responsible for strength. Furthermore these people will neglect aspects of fitness (flexibility/mobility, balance, endurance) that are truly necessary for overall health. Worst, they might even neglect muscles that are necessary for truly aesthetically balanced physique (serious body builders would never neglect calves or forearms or lats).
Just my interpretation on a trend I've noticed.
